Danniesha Cain

Physiotherapist Assistants

As a Physiotherapist Assistant at Bodyworks Physiotherapy Ellesmere, Danniesha is dedicated to supporting patients in achieving their personal rehabilitation goals. She believes that every individual is unique, and she takes pride in tailoring each session to meet the specific needs and objectives of the person she is working with. By using a goal-oriented approach rather than a task-focused one, she ensures that patients know she is committed to helping them achieve the outcomes they envision for themselves—whether that’s regaining functional independence, alleviating pain, or returning to activities they love.

Danniesha brings seven years of experience as a Physiotherapist Assistant and recently graduated from Centennial College’s Occupational Therapist Assistant and Physiotherapist Assistant program. Throughout her career, she has had the privilege of working with a diverse range of patients, including those with acute and chronic injuries, motor vehicle accident rehabilitation, and athletes. This variety has helped her understand the importance of individualizing care to ensure the best results. Additionally, she has gained experience working with a range of modalities, continually expanding her knowledge and skills.

Her passion for rehabilitation stems from her background in sports, having competed in track and field, soccer, badminton, and volleyball—her favorite. These experiences taught her the importance of resilience, adaptability, and teamwork, which she now brings into her practice. She is committed to ongoing learning and plans to pursue additional certifications as she works toward her goal of becoming a Physiotherapist.

Outside the clinic, Danniesha enjoys reading, exploring escape rooms, going on walks, and working out. She believes that staying active and continuously learning are key to personal and professional growth, and she looks forward to applying these principles to better serve her community and help patients reach their goals.
